During the July 2017 to 2018 growing seasons, a disease of physali observed in Bin County, Heilongjiang Province, China, affected more than 65% of plants in seven greenhouses. Symptoms of infected leaves in the early stages exhibited brownish-black specks that later expanded into necrotic lesions.
