Samples from Valeriana fauriei Briq. plants were collected from six prefectures to survey viral pathogens. By next-generation sequencing and RT-PCR analysis, asparagus virus 2 (AV-2), broad bean wilt virus 2 (BBWV-2), cucumber mosaic virus (CMV), gaillardia latent virus (GaILV), ligustrum necrotic ringspot virus (LNRSV), and tomato spotted wilt orthotospovirus (TSWV) were detected.
