Streptococcus pneumoniae remains a leading cause of bacterial pneumonia and meningitis in children globally, despite pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV) implementation. We report a case of fatal pneumococcal meningitis in a fully vaccinated 2-year-old male.
