In vitro and in vivo experiments on human cell lines (breast adenocarcinoma, MCF-7, and liver hepatocellular carcinoma, HepG2), plants (Allium cepa) and bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa) displayed cytotoxic and genotoxic impacts of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs).
