Hereditary leiomyomatosis and renal cell cancer (HLRCC) is caused by heterozygous germline mutations in the fumarate hydratase (FH) gene and is associated with increased susceptibility to cutaneous leiomyomas, uterine leiomyomas, and renal cell carcinoma (RCC).
