Banana bract mosaic virus (BBrMV) causes one of the major viral diseases of the fiber crop abaca at a great economic loss in the Philippines. A one-step reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification (RT-LAMP) assay was developed to detect BBrMV.
