Gastrodia elata Blume belongs to the Orchidaceae, and it is a kind of traditional Chinese medicine to be usually used for patients with dementia, ischemia, convulsion, vertigo, and tremors (Taylor et al. 2002). G. elata is a mycotrophic plant, whose growth requires the presence of Mycena osmundicola and Armillaria mellea, and it must develop symbiotic relationships with these compatible fungi (Kim and Park 2013)....
