<h4>ABSTRACT</h4> <h4>PURPOSE</h4> We previously found a dominant mutation, Rwhs , causing white spots on the retina accompanied by retinal folds. Here we identify the mutant gene to be Tmem98. In humans, mutations in the orthologous gene cause nanophthalmos.
