Inoculation experiments with 14 genotypes of oats (10 cultivars and 4 lines) were performed during 1996, 1997 and 1998 in Sitaniec, South-Eastern Poland. Panicles of oats were inoculated with a conidial suspension of Fusarium avenaceum, which caused a reduction in yield by 33% and in 1000 kernel weight (TKW) by 21%.
