In June of 2017, a ‘Honeycrisp’ apple (Malus pumila Mill.) cultivar from central Washington exhibiting shoot decline and dieback symptoms was submitted for diagnosis to the Washington State University Clean Plant Center Northwest (WSU-CPCNW).
