<h4>ABSTRACT</h4> Doxycycline use for bacterial sexually transmitted infections (STIs) increased in recent years due to changes in treatment guidelines, the shortage of benzathine penicillin for treatment of syphilis, and adoption of doxycycline post-exposure prophylaxis.
