A yellows disease of grapevine in Germany referred to as ‘Vergilbungskrankheit’ (VK) causes yield loss and decline of infected vines. Mycoplasmalike organisms (MLO) were transmitted from a symptomatic vine to periwinkle (Catharanthus roseus) by Cuscuta odorata.
