Strawberry (Fragaria × ananassa, family Rosaceae) is popular worldwide. Mexican production is third after China and the United States. Puebla state produced 517 t in 2017. In summer 2018, in Atlixco-Puebla municipality (18°55′31.9″ N, 98°25′55.2″ W), ‘Camino Real’ strawberry plants displayed an uncommon fungus.
