<title>Abstract</title> <p><bold>Background</bold> Wilson's disease (WD) is an autosomal recessive genetic disorder due to a mutation of the <italic>ATP7B</italic> gene, resulting in impaired hepatic copper excretion and accumulation in various tissues.
