<title>Abstract</title> <p>Background Sarcomatoid carcinoma (SCA) is a relatively rare malignant tumor, and primary SCA occurring in the small intestine is even rarer, characterized by the co-existence of malignant epithelial cells and sarcomatoid differentiation (spindle/giant cell) components.
