In 2015, leaf blight was detected on Sansevieria trifasciata in several states of Malaysia. The fungi isolated from the symptomatic lesions were identified as Lasiodiplodia brasiliense, L. hormozganensis, L. iraniensis, L. pseudotheobromae, and L. theobromae based on morphological characteristics and phylogenetic analysis of partial ITS region and TEF1-α gene.
