Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cepae (FOC) isolated from onion basal rot possessed a SIX3 homolog (FocSIX3) with 91.4 % identity to the SIX3 gene (FolSIX3) of F. oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici (FOL).
