<title>Abstract</title> <p>Glioblastoma (GBM) is one of the most malignant primary brain tumors in adults. The <italic>NPC</italic>2 gene (Niemann-Pick type C intracellular cholesterol transporter 2) is a protein-coding gene with a lipid recognition domain.
