<title>Abstract</title> <p>A novel protease-producing actinobacterium, designated strain NEAU-A11<sup>T</sup>, was isolated from soil collected from Aohan banner, Chifeng, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China, and characterised using a polyphasic approach.
