<title>Abstract</title> <p>Water chlorination produces bromochloroacetonitrile as a disinfectant byproduct. The cytotoxic effects of bromochloroacetonitrile on human keratinocyte cells were examined. For 24 and 48 hours, cells were treated to 5–80 M bromochloroacetonitrile.
