<h4>Summary</h4> Phytoplasmas are specialized phloem-limited bacteria that cause diseases on various crops resulting in significant agricultural losses. This research focuses on the jujube Witches’ Broom (JWB) phytoplasma and investigates the host-manipulating activity of the effector SJP39.
