<h4>Background: </h4> VEXAS is a recently described inflammatory disease caused by mutations in the UBA1 gene. Symptoms are diverse and include fevers, cartilaginous inflammation, lung inflammation, vasculitis, neutrophilic dermatoses, and macrocytic anemia.
