<h4>Background: </h4> Pseudomonas aeruginosa is an opportunistic pathogen with both intrinsic and acquired antimicrobial resistance. High-risk clones are associated with carbapenem resistance because they frequently harbour and disseminate carbapenemase genes and other resistance determinants, enabling their persistence and spread in healthcare settings.
