Sida yellow mosaic China virus (SiYMCNV), genus Begomovirus, family Geminiviridae, was first reported infecting Sida acuta in China (Xiong et al. 2005). In April 2018, disease symptoms with an incidence of about 5% were observed in four tobacco fields in Hainan province, China.
