Oral bacteria of malnourished children were investigated from Sokoto State Specialist Hospital. Insufficient nutrients create malnutrition, and food influences health. In microbiological isolation, aseptic mouth samples are evaluated. Swabs are spun across the pharynx for 15–20 seconds to collect samples.
