Data on the frequency of the CCR5 chemokine receptor-gene 32-bp deletion in seven Turkic (Bashkir, Tatar, and Chuvash) and Finno-Ugric (Mari, Komi, Mordvinian, and Udmurt) populations of the Volga-Ural region, obtained by means of the PCR technique, are presented.
