Samples from 51 chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) patients (42 typical, nine atypical) were assessed for in vitro response to fludarabine and cladribine (2-CdA) using the flow cytometric terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase (TdT) assay.
