Polymorphism of the circumsporozoite protein (CSP) of Plasmodium malariae was characterized by comparing gene sequences of twelve field isolates obtained in Yaoundé, Cameroon, Central Africa, and one clinical isolate originating from Côte d'Ivoire, West Africa.
