The etiology of migrainous cerebral infarction is unknown, but may involve prothrombotic coagulation abnormalities. Therefore, we studied resistance to activated protein C and the presence of the Arg506Gln factor V Leiden mutation in 20 patients with migrainous cerebral infarction.
