To monitor genotoxicity in small bodies of water (e.g., creeks, ponds, and drainage ditches) we examined tadpole erythrocytes of two species: Rana clamitans and Rana pipiens,using the alkaline single cell gel DNA electrophoresis (SCG) or "comet" assay.
