Oxathlin carboxanilide analogs (UC) and alpha APA, compounds recognized as nonnucleoside reverse transcriptase (RT) inhibitors (NNRTI), were evaluated for activity against the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV-1) and drug-resistant variants.
