Abstract excerpt
The exeF-exeG intergenic regions from different hybridization groups (HG) of Aeromonas were studied by PCR amplification using a single pair of primers. Six main classes of PCR products were identified according to size: 360 bp, 320 bp, 280 bp, 230-240 bp, 220 bp and 160 bp. Direct sequencing of the PCR products indicated that the shorter intergenic regions had probably originated from deletion of DNA segments...
