HBsAg of Hepatitis B virus (HBV) has been classified into four major subtypes (adw, adr, ayw, ayr) by the serological methods. Using molecular evolutionary analysis technique, we constructed the phylogenetic tree for the partial S gene (HBsAg gene) of HBV.
