A new technical modality for the typing of coagulation factor XIIIB (F13B) is described. The determination of F13B phenotypes was carried out from desyalized plasma samples by means of polyacrylamide gel isoelectric focusing (pH range 6-8) followed by immunofixation-silver stain.
