We have analyzed the mutagenic effect of elevated temperatures (hyperthermia: HT) either upon direct exposure or after a previous heat shock (HS) in the haploid auxotrophic Saccharomyces cerevisiae strain SC7K lys2-3 in the logarithmic phase of growth.
