Three thermo- and radiosensitive mutants of yeast-Saccharomyces were used to study cell inactivation under the effect of elevated temperature, UV-light, and ionizing radiation. The forms of cell inactivation were shown to be identical with all the factors under study and to resemble lethal "terminal phenotypes" of Hartwell cds mutants.
