Hashimoto's thyroiditis (HT) is an autoimmune thyroid disorder that includes thyroid parenchymal lymphocytic infiltration. Progranulin (PRGN) is an anti-inflammatory glycoprotein encoded by granulin precursor gene (GRN) and involved in the pathogenesis of several diseases.
