Arabidopsis encodes 10 TREHALOSE-6-PHOSPHATE PHOSPHATASE (TPP) genes, homologous to maize RAMOSA3 (RA3), which controls shoot branching. Here, we explored the functions of the Arabidopsis TPPs.
