ABSTRACT Paired baseline and post-exposure isolates from 34 patients who developed ceftolozane–tazobactam (TOL-TAZ) resistance following treatment of multidrug-resistant (MDR) Pseudomonas aeruginosa infections were analyzed to determine if ceftolozane with an alternative β-lactamase inhibitor could restore susceptibility.
