Designated silkworms (Antheraea mylitta D.) are found in the Smilipal Biosphere Reserve (SBR) and consist of four ecological groups. This study examined the genetics of eight ethnic groups from four ecological groups (Modal, Nalia, Bogai and Jata) using RAPD and ISSR markers.
