PLAG1 gene fusions were recently identified in a subset of uterine myxoid leiomyosarcomas (M-LMS). However, we have encountered cases of PLAG1-rearranged uterine sarcomas lacking M-LMS-like morphology and/or any expression of smooth muscle markers.
