PURPOSE: Aplasia of lacrimal and salivary glands (ALSG) is a syndromic disorder characterized by aplasia of lacrimal and salivary systems. Reported ophthalmic manifestations of ALSG include aplasia of lacrimal glands, punctal agenesis, lacrimal sac mucocele, and membranous congenital nasolacrimal duct obstruction (CNLDO).
