Alzheimer's disease (AD) is accompanied by neural cell loss and memory deficit. Neural cell death, occurring via apoptosis and autophagy, is widely observed in the AD brain in addition to neuroinflammation mediated by necroptosis and the NLRP3 inflammasome.
