Several parameters of lipoprotein metabolism were examined in 38 men with primary hypertriglyceridemia (phenotype IV). Family investigation showed that 17 men had familial combined hyperlipidemia (FCH), seven had familial hypertriglyceridemia (FHT), and 14 had unclassified hypertriglyceridemia (UNC).
