Mycobacterium abscessus (Mab) is a multidrug-resistant pathogen increasingly responsible for severe pulmonary infections. Analysis of whole-genome sequences (WGS) of Mab demonstrates dense genetic clustering of clinical isolates collected from disparate geographic locations.
