Systemic autoinflammatory disorders (SAIDs) encompass a heterogeneous group of monogenic disorders characterized by recurrent episodes of systemic and organ-specific inflammation. Genetic studies have facilitated the identification of Mendelian forms of SAIDs but many patients still remain without a diagnosis.
