Immunomorphological diagnosis of T-cell lymphoma (TCL) may be challenging, especially on needle biopsies. Multiplex polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assays to assess T-cell receptor (TCR) gene rearrangements are now widely used to detect T-cell clones and provide diagnostic support.
