INTRODUCTION: Inherited bone marrow failure syndromes (IBMFS) feature complex molecular pathophysiology resulting in ineffective hematopoiesis and increased risk of progression to myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) and acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
