During meiosis, DNA double-strand breaks undergo interhomolog repair to yield crossovers between homologous chromosomes. To investigate how interhomolog sequence polymorphism affects crossovers, we sequenced multiple recombinant populations of the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana.
