Mitochondria play important roles in ovarian follicle development. Mitochondrial dysfunction, including mitochondrial gene deficiency, impairs ovarian development. Here, we explored the role and mechanism of mitochondrial inner membrane gene Immp2l in ovarian follicle growth and development.
